Sustainable Tree House Going up On Governors Island
We're helping an artist/ designer named Benjamin Jones build a sustainable treehouse on Governors Island this summer. It looks really interesting--check out the video: TREEHOUSE WEB PAGE.
According to Ben, "the project will be an exercise in sustainable design. The tree house and surrounding playground activities will be created entirely from reclaimed and sustainable materials. Sustainable energy sources, such as wind and solar energy will be used to power interactive activities."
Looks like fun for the whole family!
