The Tree Guard Clinic rocked out all morning long this last Saturday. All I can say is: Wow and thanks for the memories!

Marc "The Guard" Dreyfus (http://brooklynshade.org) led a great clinic with the help of the reasonable and gracious folks from Green Shores NYC (http://www.greenshoresnyc.org) for about twenty people.

There was coffee, bagels and a cool slide show/instructional lecture from Marc on the do's and dont's of building great tree guards to begin, then we all went off and actually built a tree guard down the street for a young tree.

Not only was the event super informative, it was a great way for tree lovers to meet each other and answer questions about the trees of NYC.

Our huge thanks to Marc and to Christie, Katie, Chris and the others who helped set up and run it. Look for future workshops soon!
