It's been a busy 6 months for deconstruction manager Max Rubinstein and the rest of us here at Build It Green! headquarters in Astoria. In that time, we've removed & reused over 50 kitchen cabinet sets that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill. We've been expanding the program of late as well... This past November, we all took a big road trip out to the beautiful town of Tom's River, NJ and spent a week working on our first solo large-scale deconstruction project: a two and a half storey home with a two car garage (click here for pics). The project was a big success, we've already sold everything from the house and are hungry for more, so here goes:
