Build It Green!NYC partnered with MADE - an innovative design/build architecture studio - to salvage resuable materials from a West Village townhouse. MADE brought in BIG!NYC because they strongly believe in combining intelligent and creative design with sustainable practice. Check MADE out at http://www.made-nyc.com.

We salvaged some great architectural materials: 3,000 square feet of wide-plank yellow pine sub-flooring, circa 1860. Five beautiful mantles (one of which is pictured above). 12 vintage doors in various sizes, including a classic dutch door. A pair of parlor floor pocket doors. Cedar paneling from a woolen closet.
